OUR POLICIES

Please read all the policies carefully before making the registration :

ANTI DOPING CODE

1. SCOPE AND APPLICATION

F-15 Cricket League ("F-15"), and this Anti-Racism Policy applies to players and Team Officials (referred to as the "Anti-Racism Code"). It is both adopted and implemented as an integral component of F-15's operations.

Company by issuing this Anti-Racism Code wishes to provide for an effective means to ensure that all participants (Players as well as Team Officials) conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and restrain from conducting themselves in a manner that may be construed as Racially and/or religiously offensive. All matters pertaining to improper conduct of this nature shall be dealt by the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee fairly and expeditiously.

2. CONDUCT OF PARTICIPANTS

2.1. All Players and Team Officials are automatically bound by and required to comply with all of the provisions of the Anti-Racism Code.

2.2. All players and team officials agree:

a) That it is their personal responsibility to familiarise themselves with all of the requirements of the Anti-Racism Code, including what conduct constitutes an offence under the Anti-Racism Code

b) To submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee to hear and determine charges brought pursuant to the Anti-Racism Code.

c) Not to bring any proceedings in any court or other forum that are inconsistent with the foregoing submission to the jurisdiction of the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee.

d) The conduct prohibited under the Anti-Racism Code may also constitute a breach of other applicable laws or regulations (e.g. governing equal opportunities and/or anti-discrimination). The Anti-Racism Code is intended to supplement such laws and regulations with further rules of professional conduct for those involved in the sport of cricket. It is not intended, and may not be interpreted, construed or applied, to prejudice or undermine in any way the application of such laws and regulations. Players and Player support personnel must comply with all applicable laws and regulations at all times.

3. OFFENCES

3.1. The following conduct, if committed by a Player or Team Official at any time during, or in relation to, a Match shall amount to an offence under the Anti-Racist Code:

Anti-Racism will be construed to include engaging in any conduct (whether through the use of language, gestures, or otherwise) which is likely to insult, humiliate, intimidate, threaten, disparage, offend, or vilify any reasonable person in the position of a Player, Team Official, Umpire, Match Referee or any other person (including a Spectator) on the basis of Race, Religion, Culture, Color, Descent, National, Ethnic origin.

4. SANCTIONS

4.1. Where the management committee/disciplinary committee determine that an offence under the Anti-Racism Code has been committed, he/she will be required to impose an appropriate sanction on the Player or Team Official.

4.2. The Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee shall consider the term for which the Player/Team Official shall be suspended based on the nature of offence. The committee shall also have the right to terminate the existing right of the Player/Team Official to participate in F-15, depending on the seriousness of the offence committed.

4.3. The decision of the Disciplinary Committee/Management Committee shall be final and binding on all the stakeholders.

5. AMENDMENTS AND INTREPRETATION

5.1. The Anti-Racism Code may be amended from time to time by the Company with such amendments coming into effect on the date specified by the Company.

5.2. The Headings used for the various articles of the Anti-Racism Code are for the purpose of guidance only and shall not be deemed to be part of the substance of the Anti-Racism Code or to inform or affect in any way the language of the provisions to which they refer.

5.3. If any article or provision or the Anti-Racism Code is held invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason the Anti-Racism Code shall remain otherwise in full force apart from such article or provision which shall be deemed deleted insofar as it is invalid and unenforceable or illegal.

LEAGUE CONSTITUTION

1. NAME

1.1 The name of the league is F-Fifteen Cricket League (“F-15”), hereinafter referred to as “The League”

1.2 F-Fifteen is responsible for the operation of League.

1.3 They are committed to ensuring the integrity of the Sport of Cricket and Promoting and Safety and well being of its members and the Players of the league.

2. OBJECTIVES OF THE LEAGUE 

A true sportsperson is one who plays a game not only within the rules and regulations but also within the spirit of the game. Any action seen as abusing this spirit of the game of cricket, causes injury to the game itself. Embracing the spirit of the game means participating, either as a player or as a team official, fairly and exhibiting respect for other players and team officials and the game’s traditional values such as graciousness in defeat and humility in victory.

The following are the main objectives of the league :

2.1 To promote the highest possible standards of cricket and playing facilities.

2.2 To endeavor at all times to uphold the high traditions, spirit and laws of the game.

2.3 To encourage equality in all aspects and to ensure a duty of care to all its participants and members regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, color, socio status, sexual orientation, religion or other believes.

2.4 The league will work diligently at all times to promote Anti-Racism and Racial Equality in the game.

2.5 Disciplinary action will be taken against any member, club, player, or other person, who acts in any racist manner, or his proven guilty of racial abuse.

3. MEMBERSHIP OF THE LEAGUE

3.1 The Participants, as shall have been admitted to the membership of the league and are still participating in the league structure.

4. GOVERNANCE OF THE LEAGUE

4.1 The affairs of the league shall be governed by a board of management, hereinafter referred to as “The Board”.

5. APPOINTMENT OF BOARD MEMBERS

5.1 The Board shall consist of up to a maximum of 7 Members who shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting. Members of the Board and shall serve for a period of three years, with a Minimum of 2 Members and a Maximum of 3, retiring each year by rotation. The retiring members shall be eligible for Re-election.

5.2 The Board shall elect its own Chairman, Vice-Chairman and League Secretary.

5.3 At Board Meetings, all members present shall have one vote with the Chairman, in addition, having a casting vote.

5.4 For Board Meetings, 4 Members shall constitute a quorum.

6. Management of the League

6.1 The League shall comprise of several governing bodies to undertake control, organization, management and administration of the league and events at respective venues (“Purpose”). The Governing Bodies constituted for the purpose shall be enumerated in this league constitution.

6.2 The Governing bodies shall be as follows :

6.2.1 MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

(I) The management committee has been formed to ensure that the league is conducted smoothly and compliance of various codes, rules and regulations promulgated for the league.

(II) The Managing Committee is the body responsible for the operation of the League and has promulgated various codes of conduct for Players and Team officials to protect and enshrine important qualities and standards of the League.

(III) All other committees of the League shall derive their powers from the Management Committee.

(IV) The Disciplinary Committee of the League shall comprise of the office bearers.

6.2.2 DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE

(I) The Management Committee has formed among others, a Disciplinary Committee which shall be the dispute resolution body for the League to implement and investigate the various codes, Rules and Regulations and to adjudicate thereon, namely, code of conduct, prevention of malpractices code, anti-doping code, anti-racism code etc.

(II) All disputes related to ethics, racism, cheating, misconduct, corrupt practices, bribery, insider trading, doping issues and all other issues which the management committee may delegate to disciplinary committee during the course of league adjudicated by the Disciplinary Committee.

(III) The Disciplinary Committee of the League shall comprise of the office bearers.

6.2.3 ORGANISING COMMITTEE

(I) The Organizing Committee of the League shall comprise of the office bearers.

(II) The Organizing Committee shall be responsible for the organization, management and conduct of the League including Management of Players and all arrangements with regard to the Players and Selection of the Players who shall be shortlisted and finally selected to play in the League.

6.2.4 TECHNICAL COMMITTEE

(I) The technical committee shall comprise of the office bearers.

(II) The technical committee shall be responsible for all management and organization of all technical equipment and facilities required for the league.

7. Terms of Reference for the Committee

7.1 Each of the above-mentioned committees shall constitute their Terms of Reference that shall enumerate its members, appointment and disqualification of members, powers and proceedings, role of chairman, etc.

8. RULES AND REGULATIONS OF LEAGUE

8.1 These Codes, Rules and Regulations are designed to deter participants from conducting themselves improperly on and off the ‘field-of-play’ or in a manner that is contrary to the ‘spirit of cricket’ and to put in a place a robust disciplinary procedure pursuant to which all matters of improper conduct can be dealt with fairly, with certainty and in an expeditious manner.

8.2 All Players shall be subject to all the stipulated Codes.

8.3 The following codes, rules and policies have been laid down for the League:

9. INVESTIGATION AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS

9.1 Any allegation or suspicion of breach of any of the Codes mentioned in Article 8 or any Rules and Regulations of the League, whatever the source, shall be adjudicated by Disciplinary Committee shall refer the dispute to the designated Official/s appointed by the Disciplinary Committee (or his/her designee/s) for investigation and possible charge.

9.2 The Designated Official (or his/her designee) may conduct enquires/investigations into the activities of any participant who he/she believes may have committed an offence under any Code, Rules and Regulations.

9.3 All participants must cooperate fully with such enquiries/investigations.

9.4 If a participant is found guilty of the charges levelled against them, his/her Registration may be cancelled or any other suitable penalty may be meted out.

9.5 If the registration is cancelled, the participant will not be able to participate further in the F-15 and the Disciplinary Committee shall commence further inquiry in the matter and adjudicate upon the same.

9.6 The Disciplinary Committee’s decision shall be final and complete disposition of the matter and will be binding on all parties.

9.7 If the registration is cancelled for any reason, the fee deposited will not be refunded back to the participant.

9.8 The Management Committee/Disciplinary committee’s decision shall not be subject to administrative and/or judicial review.

10. ALTERATION TO THE CONTITUTION[*]

11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

The terms and conditions of this Agreement shall be governed by laws of India and the fora situated in New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise between the parties with respect to this agreement.

REGISTRATION POLICIES

I hereby declare that my parents/guardians and I have read and understood all the rules, regulations and stipulations of the F-Fifteen Cricket League (“F-15”) and we undertake to unconditionally abide by them.

It is implicitly and explicitly understood and unconditionally agreed and accepted by us that the decision of the coaches in the selection of players will be final and binding on us.

I hereby undertake not to ingest, swallow, inhale or consume any performance enhancing drugs and/or any prohibited substance/substances.

I understand and agree that if I am found guilty of having breached and or violated any terms of this undertaking, my registration will be immediately cancelled.

The decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the F-15 in this regards will be final and be binding on me.

We understand and agree that if the Applicant sustains an injury during the course of the camp/season and is not allowed to continue no refund will be given to us.

The F-15 Management shall not be liable for the non disclosure of any medical condition and/or any injury suffered during the course of play.

In case my registration is cancelled for any reason whatever by the Disciplinary Committee of the F-15, the registration fee paid by us will be forfeited and we shall have no claim of any kind against the F-15 management or their associates.

We understand and agree that, in case the event is called off due to reason beyond the control of the F-15 management such as riots, civil commotion, war, acts of god, order of court, a ban by Local/State/Central Governments, etc. the registration fees paid by us will not be refunded.

It is mandatory for the parents/legal guardian to execute an Indemnity Bond on Rs. 10 Non-Judicial Stamp Paper in the F-15 format prescribed below. It also has to be duly attested by the gazetted officer/notary which is to be positively submitted at the time of reporting to the camp. Entry to the camp will not be allowed without a valid Indemnity Bond.

ANTI RACISM CODE

1. SCOPE OF APPLICATIONS

F-15 is responsible for the operations of F-Fifteen Cricket League (“F-15”) and this Anti-Doping for Players & Team Official (the ”Anti-doping Code”) is adopted and implemented as a part of F-15. The Players agree to not indulge in any such violations and the Team Officials agree to not encourage or conceal any such activities by the Players.

Company by issuing this Anti-Doping Code are trying to Provide for an effective means to ensure that all participants (Players as well as Team Officials) conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and restrain from conducting themselves in an manner that may be construed as a violation of the World Anti-doping Code.

2. CONDUCT OF PLAYERS

2.1. All Players are automatically bound by and required to comply with all of the provisions of the Anti-Doping Code.

2.2. All Players agree that

a) that it is their personal responsibility to familiarize themselves with all the requirements of the Anti-Doping Code, including what conduct constitutes an offence under the Anti-Doping Code and be acquainted with the list of prohibited substances.

b) to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee to hear and determines charges brought pursuant to the Anti-Doping Code.

C) not to bring any Preceedings in any court or other forum that are inconsistent with the foregoing submission to the jurisdiction of the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee.

d) it is player’s personal duty to ensure that no prohibited substances or its metabolites or markers enters his body.

e) player’s lack of intent, fault, negligence or knowledge will not be valid defence if any prohibited substance is found in his Sample collected after Testing.

f) each players acknowledge that refusing or failing, without compelling justifications, to submit to sample collection will be construed as admission of guilt and considered as doping.

g) possession of Prohibited substances and/or prohibited methods will render the registrations of the Players Cancelled.

h) possession of prohibited substances and/or prohibited methods will render the registraions of the Player Cancelled.

i) administration or attempted administration to any participants in-competitions of any prohibited methods or prohibited substances will render the registrations of the player cancelled.

3. TESTING

3.1 The Company shall be responsible for drawing up and implementing a test distribution plan for implementing such Testing. The Company will engage one or more third parties to conduct such Testing on its behalf. All such Testing shall be conducted in substantial conformity with the International Standard for Testing.

3.2. All Players must submit to Testing conducted on behalf of the company upon request, at any time or places, with or without notice.

3.3. Having due regards to the age of the Players such Testing shall be conducted in presence of their guardians, with their consent. However no guardian can withhold their consent on unreasonable grounds.

4. SANCTIONS

If the Testing of the Sample, after examinations, turns out to be positive, the Player shall not be entitled to participate in any match and shall be disqualified and basis this if the Registration is cancelled, the fee paid would be forfeited and.

5. LIST OF PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES

The list of Prohibited substances include but is not limited to:

a. Peptied hormones, Growth Factors, Related Substances and Mimetics Hormone and Metabolic Modulators

b. Diuretics and Masking Agents

c. Stimulants

d. Alcohol

e. Narcotics: Mitragynine and tramadol

f. Glucocorticoids

g. Telmisartan

h. The entire list of the Prohibited Substances published by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for the year 2016 which can be accessed at :

6. AMENDMENTS & INTERPRETATIONS

MISSING CHILDREN POLICY

1. SCOPE AND APPLICATION

F-15 (Company) is responsible for the operation and management of F-Fifteen Cricket League (“F-15”) and this Missing Children Policy is adopted and implemented as a part of F-15. The Company by issuing this Missing Children Policy is trying to provide for an effective means to ensure that all participants are safe and secure in the premises.

2. CONDUCT OF OFFICIALS 

All officials of the F-15 are expected to follow rules as outlined in this Missing Children Policy.

Staff members are expected to abide the following :

a) Frequently count the number of children in their group to ensure that no one is missing.

b) Enforce a policy that no child may leave his group or the premises for any reason without informing he coach or other officials/volunteers/supervisors.

c) Enforce the practice that other children in the group should tell the officials if they notice that anyone else is missing in the group.

d) No become so involved in the activity at hand that the staff member loses track of the participants who are waiting on the sidelines.

e) Not allow children to be idle for long periods; idle children look for something else to do and wander off without even realizing that they are leaving the group environment.

3. PROTOCOL TO BE FOLLOWED 

If a child goes missing, the following steps must be followed :

a) Enquire about the missing child and his whereabouts before reaching a conclusion of any sort.

b) Inform officials of F-15, who can start conducting an official search in and around the premises.

c) Monitor the entry and exit points.

d) Search the immediate premises and the outlining perimeter.

e) If the child cannot be found post all such efforts, a complaint should then be lodged with the concerned authorities after consulting with the guardian of the child.

f) At any point in this process, if a person is spotted who looks like he or she doesn’t fit in this environment, the officials or any other staff member must be alerted immediately.

4. SAFETY STANDARDS

At all times during the F-15 Tournament and Selection camps, the officials shall ensure that all safety standards are compiled with. These would include presence of paramedics/doctors, security guards, trained coaches, and proper equipments/kits to avoid the occurrence of any mishap.

5. AMENDMENT & INTERPRETATION

a) The Missing Child Policy may be amended from time to time by the F-15 with such amendments coming into effect on the date specified by F-15.

b) The headings used for the various articles of the missing children policy are for the purpose of guidance only and shall not be deemed to be part of the substance of the missing children policy or to inform or affect in any way the language of the provisions to which they refer.

c) If any article or provision of the missing children policy is held invalid or unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the missing children policy shall remain otherwise in full force apart from such article or provision which shall be deemed deleted insofar as it is invalid, unenforceable or illegal.

6. CONTACT INFORMATION 

If a child goes missing from in or around the premises, an official shall be delegated the duty to take care of all information send or received with regards to such cases and to ensure that no false rumors are spread around which might hamper the image of F-15.

CODE OF CONDUCT

1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

1.1 The Managing Committee of F-15 has charted out Code of Conduct to ensure the integrity of the sport of cricket, promoting it, and safety and well-being of its members and the students playing in the F-15. This Code of Conduct (The “Code of Conduct”) is adopted and implemented as a part of the F-15.

1.2 Company is issuing and adopting this Code of Conduct to provide for an effective means of upholding both the spirit as well as the laws of the game of cricket and to ensure that all participants, the members of the F-15 (players, their parents, team officials, umpires), conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and restrain from conducting themselves in a manner that may be construed as a violation of the Code of Conduct. All matters pertaining to improper conduct of this nature shall be dealt with by the Management Committee/ Disciplinary Committee fairly and expeditiously.

1.3 All matches shall be conducted in the true spirit of the game of cricket and players, their parents, team officials, coaches, captains and Players are requested to adopt this code. 1.4 No player or official shall, during any match, whether on or off the field of play, engage in conduct unbecoming to the game of cricket.

1.5 All members, players, parents, team officials etc. Agree to protect the spirit of the game of cricket. The spirit of the game involves RESPECT for:

a) Your opponents;
b) Your own captain and team;
c) The role of the Umpires; and
d) The game’s tradition values.

1.6 All members, players, parents, team officials etc. shall take utmost care and precautions for the safety and security of the students.

2. CODE OF CONDUCT FOR THE PLAYERS:

2.1. All players, either through their parents or by themselves, are automatically bound by or required to comply with all of the provisions of the Code of Conduct.

2.2. All players and their parents agree:

a) That it is their personal responsibility to familiarize themselves with all of the requirements of the Code of Conduct, including what conduct constitutes an offence under the Code of Conduct
b) To submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Management Committee/ Disciplinary Committee to hear and determine charges brought pursuant to the Code of Conduct
c) Not to bring any proceedings, with the respect to the violation of the Code of Conduct in any court or other forum

3. CODE OF CONDUCT OFFENCES FOR PLAYERS

3.1 Cricket is a game that owes much of its unique appeal to the fact that it should be played not only within its laws, but also within the Spirit of the Game. Any action that is seen to abuse this spirit cause injury to the game itself. If any player commits any of the following acts prohibited under this Code of Conduct. Thereafter, the Management Committee/ Disciplinary Committees shall have the right to institute appropriate proceedings, through the parents of the players, as per the procedure mentioned in the organisation of the Committee document.

3.2 Player will not abuse cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during coaching and matches.

3.3 Player and team officials must at all times accept the Umpire’s decision. Players must not show dissent at the Umpire’s decision or react in a provocative or disapproving manner towards an Umpire’s decision during a Match such as:

(a) excessive, obvious disappointing with an Umpire’s decision;
(b) an obvious delay in resuming play or leaving the wicket;
(c) shaking the head;
(d) pointing or looking at any part of the bat when given out LBW;
(e) pointing of the pad or rubbing the shoulder when caught behind;
(f) snatching the cap from the umpire;
(g) requesting a referral to third umpire; and
(h) arguing or entering into a prolonged discussion or argument with the umpire about his decision;
(i) shall not intimidate, assault or attempt to intimidate or assault the umpire;
3.4 Player shall not use crude or abusive language nor make gestures that are obscene, offensive or insulting during a Match;

3.5 Player shall refrain from excessively audible or repetitious swearing;

3.6 Player shall refrain from excessive appealing during a Match;

3.7 Player shall refrain from inappropriate and deliberate physical contact between Players in the course of play during a Match;

3.8 Player shall refrain from charging or advancing towards umpire in an aggressive manner when appealing during a Match;

3.9 Players shall refrain from deliberate and malicious-distraction or obstruction on the field of play during a match;

3.10 Player shall refrain from throwing a ball (or any other item of cricket equipment such as a water bottle) at or near a Player, Official, Umpire, Match Referee or any other third person in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner during a Match.

3.11 Player shall refrain from using language or gesture(s) that is seriously obscene, seriously offensive or of a seriously insulting nature to another Player, Official, Umpire, Match Referee or any other third person during a Match;

3.12 Player shall refrain from:

(a) changing the condition of the ball by deliberately throwing the ball into the ground for the purpose of roughening it up;
(b) applying any artificial substance to the ball; and applying any non-artificial substance for any purpose other than to polish the ball;
(c) lifting or otherwise interfering with any of the seams of the ball; and
(d) scratching the surface of the ball with finger or thumbnails or any implement.

3.13 Player shall refrain from any attempt to manipulate a match for inappropriate strategic or tactical reasons;

3.14 Player shall refrain from intimidating an Umpire or Match Referee whether by language or conduct (including gestures) during a Match including appealing in an aggressive or threatening manner;

3.15 Player shall refrain from threat or assault on another Player, Official or any other person (including a spectator) during a Match;

3.16 Player shall not shall not conduct himself or behave in any manner that is contrary to the spirit of the game; or brings the game into disrepute;

3.17 Player shall refrain from any act of violence on the field of play at all times;

3.18 Player shall neither make racially abusive comments not indulge in racially abusive language and/or actions against fellow players, officials, members and supporters; 3.19 Player shall not deliberately distract any other player;

3.20 Player shall not indulge into any act of violence on the field of play

3.21 Player should be punctual for both training and matches;

3.22 Player must wear helmets and any other protective equipment required in all matches for their safety;

3.23 Player must remove any jewellery which they are wearing during the match or training session;

3.24 No alcohol shall be consumed by players or match officials during the hours of play.

3.25 Player shall adhere to the dressing requirements and present oneself for play in a suitable smart manner. Clean and acceptable sports clothing shall be worn.

3.26 Player shall comply with the conditions of entry of each tournament with regard to clothing and advertising regulations.

3.27 Player shall not engage, directly or indirectly, in match fixing or betting as set out in Appendix A of this Code of Conduct;

4. CODE OF CONDUCT FOR UMPIRES:

4.1 Umpires shall not make or cause to be made any public pronouncement or media comment which is detrimental to:

(a) the game of cricket in general; or
(b) any particular match between the teams in which any such umpire is involved; or
(c) the F-15; or

4.2 Umpires shall not disclose or comment upon any alleged breach of this Coode of Conduct or the Code of Conduct for players and team officials or any hearing, report or decision arising from any such alleged breach unless such disclosure is required under the provisions of this Code of Conduct for players and team officials.

4.3 Umpires shall not engage, directly or indirectly, in match fixing or betting as set out in Appendix A of this Code of Conduct;

4.4 Umpires shall not use or in any way be concerned in the use of distribution of illegal drugs.

4.5 Umpires shall at all times observe and comply with the provisions of any regulation of F-15 which applies to umpires including but not limited to the Operational Rules of the F-15.

4.6 Umpires shall not engage in any conduct which is prejudicial to the interests of the game of cricket and/or the F-15.

4.7 The Umpires are sole judges of fair and unfair play in the field. The Umpires are authorized to intervene during a match in cases of:

a) Time wasting;
b) Damaging the pitch;
c) Dangerous or unfair bowling;
d) Tampering with the ball; or
e) Any other action that they consider to be unfair.

4.8 No alcohol shall be consumed by umpires during the hours of play.

4.9 Umpires shall meet the standards of first-class Umpire and shall not fail to observe the same owing to an arrangement relating to betting on the outcome of any Match or on the occurrence of any F-15 event.

5. CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PARENTS/LEGAL GUARDIANS:

5.1 Parents shall encourage their children to learn the laws of the game of cricket and to play within the spirit of those laws and to ensure compliance of Code of Conduct.

5.2 Parents should discourage unfair play and disputes with officials/coaches on and off the field of play, at all times.

5.3 Parents should guide their child to recognize good performance and not just results and should set a good example by recognizing fair play and by applauding the good performances of all.

5.4 Parents should inculcate the spirit of true sportsmanship in their children and never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.

5.5 Parents should support their child’s involvement and help them to enjoy cricket and to develop within it and not try to impose their expectations on the child.

5.6 Parents should use correct and proper language at all times such that the parents must discipline themselves and their language in front of children. Children would want to look up to their parents and not be ashamed of them.

5.7 Parents should and ensure that their children condemn all violence and never question the decision of an official.

5.8 Parents should never ridicule a player for making a mistake. They should respect their efforts and applaud all good play from both teams.

5.9 Parents should at all times be friends and courteous to the opposition – players, managers, coaches, parents and supporters alike.

5.10 Parents must understand that even if the children are under the direct supervision of the managers/coaches for the F-15, the parents are still at all times responsible for the well-being, safety, security and the compliance by the children of the Code of Conduct.

5.11 Parents shall not engage, directly or indirectly, in match fixing or betting as set out in Appendix A of this Code of Conduct;

6. CODE OF CONDUCT FOR COACHES/CAPTAINS/MANAGERS/COACHES/TEAM OFFICIALS:

6.1 All captains shall:

(a) Instruct all players to avoid time wasting. Incoming and outgoing batsmen are expected to pass on the field of play;
(b) Instruct bowlers to return to start of their run-up quickly and be ready to bowl without time wasting;
(c) Instruct all fieldsmen to move quickly between overs and whenever required to change position, i.e. field setting and changes be undertaken without time wasting;
(d) Ensure that players conduct themselves in a manner that conforms to the traditional image of the game of cricket;

6.2 All other members of the F-15 including captains, managers, coaches, team officials and match officials shall ensure the following:

a) Shall be dressed appropriately in team uniform comprising of shirt/polo shirt/blouse or trouser/skirt. Inappropriate clothing (amongst other items) including jeans, flip flops/sandals and beach/Bermuda shorts. The Umpire will decide if a coach or team Official is inappropriately dressed.

b) Must not coach when match is on or in any manner distract opposing player or disrupt play,;

c) Must not delay the game by coaching in any form;

d) Must not verbally abuse or intimidate in any form such as shouting making gestures, towards or in any other way distract any spectator, tournament official, technical official, opposing coach or opposing team official, or opposing player;

e) Must not attempt to communicate in any way with opposing players or coaches or team officials or use any electronic device for any purpose including for example mobile phones, laptop computers or similar devices;

f) Must not make or attempt to make any unwelcome, abusive or intimidating physical contact in any with any spectator, tournament official, technical official, opposing players, coaches, or team officials.

g) Must not bring the sport into disrepute through media comments, either pre, during, or post tournament that relate to tournament officials, technical officials, opposing coaches or team officials and or players, that are personal in nature, imply bias, or question their integrity.

h) Respect the rights, dignity and worth of each and every person, and treat each equally within the context of the sport;

i) Place well-being and safety of the children above all other consideration, including the development of performance;

j) Develop an appropriate working relationship with each player based on mutual trust and respect;

k) Do not exert undue influence to obtain personal benefit or reward. Recognize good performance not just match results;

l) Encourage and guide players to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance;

m) Ensure that the activities they direct or advocate are appropriate for the age, maturity, experience and ability of the player(s);

n) Co-operate fully with specialists e.g. other coaches/managers, officials, and medical staff;

o) Promote the positive aspects of the game i.e. sportsmanship and fair play, and never condone violations of the laws of the game , behaviour contrary to the spirit of the game or relevant rules and regulations, or the use of prohibited substances or techniques;

p) Instruct all players to avoid time wasting. Incoming and outgoing batsmen are expected to pass on the field of play;

q) Ensure that their actions serve the best interests of the players from both sides;

r) Ensure the match is conducted in manner that serves the best interests of children;

s) Instruct members, players, team officials, parents and spectators of their obligation to behave in a manner that serves the best interest of children at all times;
t) Make every efforts to remove members, players, team officials, parents and spectators from the venue of the match who are not behaving in a manner that serves the best interests of children to ensure safety and protection of the children at all times;

u) No alcohol shall be consumed by players or match officials or managers or coaches during the hours of play.

6.3 All other members of F-15, including captains, managers, coaches, team officials and match official shall not engage, directly or indirectly, in match fixing or betting as set out in Appendix A of this Code of Conduct;

6.4 All other members of the F-15, including captains, managers, coaches, team officials and match officials shall take utmost care and precautions for the safety and security of the students.

7. SANCTIONS

7.1 Where the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee determine that an offence under the Code of Conduct has been committed, it will impose an appropriate sanction on the Player or Team Official or the respective member.

7.2 The Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee shall consider the term for which the Player/Team Official or such other member shall be suspended based on nature of offence. The committee shall also have the right to terminate the existing right of the Player/Team Official or the member to participate in F-15, depending on the seriousness of the offence committed. 7.3 The decision of the Management Committee/Disciplinary Committee shall be final and binding on all the stakeholders.

8. AMANDEMENTS AND INTERPRETATIONS

8.1 The Code of Conduct may be amended from time to time by the company with such amendments coming into effect on the date specified by Company.

8.2 The headings used for the various articles of the Code of Conduct are for the purpose of guidance only and shall not be deemed to be part of the substance of the Code of Conduct or to inform or affect in any way the language of the provisions which they refer.

8.3 If any article or provision of the Code of Conduct is held invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, the Code of Conduct shall remain otherwise in full force apart from such article or provision which shall be deemed deleted insofar as it is invalid, unenforceable or illegal.

APPENDIX A

Any participant or member of the F-15, including but not limited to players, parents, umpires, coaches, managers, captains, and team officials, shall be in breach of this Code of Conduct under Article 3.3 if he is found to have engaged in any of the following conduct:

1. Bet on or in relation to any Match or series of matches, or on any F-15 event.

2. Induced or encouraged any other person to bet on or in relation to any match or series of Matches or on any F-15 event or offered the facility for such bets to be placed.

3. Gambled or entered into any other form of financial speculation on or in relation to any match or on any F-15 event or induced or encouraged any other person to do so.

4. Was a party to contriving or attempting to contrive the result of any match or to any aspect of any match or the occurrence of any F-15 event.

5. Induced or encouraged any player not to perform on his merits in any match owing to any such arrangement of the kind referred to in paragraph 4 above.

6. Received from another person any money, benefit or other reward (whether financial or otherwise) for the provision of any information concerning the weather, the Teams, the state of the ground of, or the outcome of, any Match or the occurrence of any F-15 event unless such information has been provided to a newspaper or other form of media in accordance with an obligation entered into in the normal course and disclosed in advance to F-15 event.

7. Received or provided any money, benefit or other reward(whether financial or otherwise) which could bring him or the game of cricket into disrepute.

8. Received any approaches from another person to engage in conduct such as that described in any of the above paragraphs 1 to 7 and has failed to disclose the same in writing to the company.

9. Is aware that any other Umpire or individual has engaged in conduct, or received approaches, such as described in any of the above paragraphs 1 to 9 and has failed to disclose the same in writing to the Company.

10. Has received or is aware that any other person has received threats of any nature which might induce him to engage in conduct, or acquiesce in any proposal made by an approach, such as that described in any of the above paragraphs 1 to 10 and has failed to disclose the same in writing to the Company.

11. Has engaged in any conduct which, in the opinion of the Company, relates directly or indirectly to any of the above paragraphs 1 to 11 and is prejudicial to the interests of the game of cricket.

PREVENTION OF MALPRACTICES CODE

1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

1.1 F-15 is solely responsible for the operation of F-Fifteen Cricket League (“F-15”) and this Prevention of Malpractices Code for Players & Team Officials ( the “prevention of Malpractices Code”) is adopted and implemented as a part of F-15.

1.2 The Managing Committee of the F-15, has issued and adopted this Prevention of Malpractices code to bring in transparency and eliminate the possibility of Malpractices in the cricket initiative of the Company. The Company wishes to provide for an effective means to ensure that all participants in the F-15 (Players as well as Team Officials) conduct themselves in an appropriate manner and restrain from conducting themselves in a manner that may be in violation of this prevention of Malpractices Code.1.3 The Managing Committee of the F-15 has constituted a Disciplinary committee to administer and adjudicate upon all cases , violations and disputes under the Prevention of Malpractices Code and pronounce decisions thereon.

2. CONDUCT OF PARTICIPANTS 

1. All participants of the F-15 are automatically bound by an required to comply with all the provisions of this Prevention of Malpractices Code.

2. All participants of the F-15 are deemed to have implicitly and explicitly consented to the collection , processing, disclosure and use of information relating to the participant and the participant’s activities, including personal information relating to the participant and his/her activities.

3. It is the participant’s personal responsibility to familiarize themselves with all of the provisions /requirements of this Prevention of Malpractices Code and to comply with and abide by these requirements and to submit to the authority of the Managing Committee/Disciplinary Committee of the F-15.

4. Participants will not bring any proceedings in any court or other forum that are inconsistent with the foregoing submissions to the jurisdiction of the Managing Committee/Disciplinary committee.

5. Each participant shall continue to be bound by the required to comply with this Prevention of Malpractices Code during the entire duration of the F-15. 6. The decision of the Managing Committee/Disciplinary Committee shall be final and binding on the participants.

7. No participant shall, during any match, whether on or off the field of play , engage in conduct unbecoming to the game of cricket.

8. The conduct prohibited under the Prevention of Malpractices Code may also constitute a breach of other applicable laws or regulations applicable and force in India. The Prevention of Malpractices Code is intended to supplement such laws and regulations with further rules of professional conduct for those involved in the sport of cricket. It is not intended, and may not be interpreted , construed or applied, to prejudice or undermine in any way the application of such laws and regulations . All participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in India, at all times.

3. OFFENCES UNDER THIS PREVENTION OF MALPRACTICES CODE 

The following conduct, if committed by a participant at any time during, or in relation to, a match, on or off the field of play shall amount to an offence under the Prevention of Malpractices Code.

1) Providing false/untrue/misleading/distorted, etc., information in the registration form or otherwise for registering or being a part of the F-15.

2) Providing forged/false/doctored/etc., documents for registering or being a part of the F-15.

3) Giving any kind of false/untrue/misleading/incorrect declaration.

4) Attempting or encouraging to influence, subvert, undermine, etc., in any manner, the registration process of the F-15.

5) Attempting or encouraging to influence, subvert, undermine, etc., in any manner, the selection process of the F-15.

6) Attempting or encouraging to influence, subvert, undermine, etc., in any manner, the conduct of the F-15.

7) Attempting or encouraging to influence, subvert, undermine, etc., in any manner, the outcomes of various activities/matches of the F-15.

8) Failing to observe or breach of the Code of Conduct.

9) Failing to observe, ignoring, disregarding or violating instructions given by the Coach, Assistant Coach or any F-15 functionary/staff.

10)Insubordination.

11) Misuse of inside information.

12) Disclosing inside information to any outsider or unauthorized person before or during the entire duration of the F-15.

13) Soliciting, inducing, enticing, persuading, encouraging or facilitating any participant to commit an offence or any other person to do any act that would be detrimental to the interests of F-15 or commit an offence.

14) Providing or receiving any gift, payment or other benefit (whether of a monetary value or otherwise) in circumstances that the participant might reasonably have expected to bring him or the sport of cricket into disrepute.

15) Failing or refusing to disclose to the managing committee full details of any approaches or invitations received by the participant to engage in conduct that would amount to a breach of this Prevention of Malpractices Code.

16) Failing or refusing to disclose to the Managing Committee full details of any incident, fact or matters that comes to the attention of a participant that may constitute an offence under this Code Prevention of Malpractices Code by a third party.

17) Failing or refusing, without compelling juridistiction, to co-operate with any reasonable investigation carried out by the Designated Official (or his/her designee) in relation to possible offences under this Prevention of Malpractices Code, including failure to provide any information and/ or Documentation requested by the Designated Official (or his/her designee) that may be relevant to such investigation.

18) Any attempt by a participant or any agreement between a participant and any other person, to act in manner that would culminate in the commission of an offence under this Prevention of Malpractices Code, shall be treated as if an offence had been committed, whether or not such attempt or agreement in fact resulted in the commission of such offence.

19) However, their shall be no offence under this Prevention of Malpractices Code where the participant renounces the attempt or agreement prior to it be discovered by a third party not involve in the attempt or agreement.

20) A participant who authorises, causes, knowingly assists, encourages, aids, abets, cover up or it otherwise complicit in any acts or omissions committed by his/her coach, trainer, manager, agent, family member, guest or other affiliate or associate shall be treated as having committed such acts or omissions himself and shall be liable accordingly under this Prevention of Malpractices Code.

4. SANCTIONS

4.1 Where the Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee determine that an offence under the Prevention of Malpractices Code has been committed, the committee will be required to impose an appropriate sanction on the participants.

4.2 The Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee shall consider the term for which the Player/Team Officials shall be suspended based on the nature of offence. The Committee shall also have the right to terminate the existing right of the participant to participate in F-15, depending on the seriousness of the offence committed.

4.3 The decision of The Disciplinary Committee/Management Committee shall be final and binding on all the stakeholders.

5. AMENDMENT AND INTERPRETATION

5.1 The Prevention of Malpractices Code may be amended from time to time by the company with such amendments coming into effect on the date specified by the company.
